I have a power problem with my RNS E unit. When I first plugged it into the mains everything was fine, but after a while the power adapter went silent and the screen would close when the car unlocked. The only way I could bring it back was to turn the screen off and on. Next time I turned it on it was like this.

Hi Duncan, I have the same problem too and was looking for a solution. When I press the battery open button to remove the DVD or SD card it does the same thing. Also when I unlock the screen (press the unlock button on the remote) then press the screen open button again, it does the same thing. Has this issue been solved?

My RNS E unit works perfectly apart from the screen opens and closes on unlocking the car. When I press the screen open display button to remove the DVD or SD card, it opens then immediately closes. Any ideas?
