This is not a game per se. I know that Infinity Ward and Activision had to make a decision to make a profit, and if they do release Modern Warfare Remastered, I think that many of us will probably buy it. This is a game that's been around for nearly a decade, and at some point, I don't think that anyone who bought it has left the fold. The decision to make the game a remaster was made to satisfy gamers who have been long-time fans of Call of Duty, but the decision to sell DLC in the remaster is one that I struggle with. I know that the DLC was added for real reasons, and I know that there were real sales that Infinity Ward and Activision were hoping to make.
I wonder if any of this had an impact on the decision to release Modern Warfare Remastered. I don't want to say the game was a flop, but after the first week, it didn't do nearly as well as some of us had hoped.
When we launch the game, I plan on playing the remaster version of the game and then playing the original version. I know that some people may not be able to do this, and I understand that. I also know that you can't tell me not to play it - it's my money. For the people who bought the game, I hope that you can understand that I am just as frustrated as you are. And I am OK with not playing the DLC.
