as a side-note: while trying to find myself a solution i also noticed the same VID_7104&PID_2202 is used by Miditech Midistart-2 (which seem to have xp 64bit driver, much toysh keyboard btw). That also mean Midistart-2 driver can be installed for uf, but not working. Just as a curiosity, do you know if they share the same micro-controller

Melvin, which driver were you using with Snow Leopard I have a CME UF6 here - which is essentially the same keyboard - which is not showing up on Mac OS X 10.6.8, Macbook Pro Core i5. Could you send me your driver Thanks.
That's for sure. I had a CME UF6 keyboard for a short time, and I made the mistake of installing the USB driver on my Mac. It caused a problem when I used Logic Pro 7, where a certain note would not sound when I was using software synths in Logic. It seems that the CME driver corrupted Core MIDI in OSX somehow, and I had to do a complete re-install of OS X to fix the problem. I'm using an E-mu X-Board 49 now via USB with no problems at all.
I've never had problems with gameport-MIDI-interfaces, either thru my old SBLive or whatever I had before that. There are no USB-drivers to worry about, just plain midi transfer from keyboard to computer.
NAMM Show Update: CME introduced the ASX, a DSP board which goes into the expansion slot of UF and VX series keyboards and provides a flexible synthesis engine, turning the CME MIDI controller keyboard into a stand-alone synthesizer. 153554b96e
