Corona Renderer can use either PGF or DXF files and can use either a NURBS or polygonal meshes for the geometry of your scene. It can be used as a standalone application or as part of a larger software package. It highly scales, and will work on any desktop machine that has the necessary hardware. If you are looking for a software that has flexible rendering options, then its worth checking out. One thing to be aware of is that it is developed for windows and has not been built for use on the Mac yet.
