There's no way to say it better than that. I've seen some really impressive mirror shattering, but this one takes the cake. Kanna is shattered into a gazillion tiny glass shards, then pulverized. She's scattered in so many glass shards she's spreading like a fan, and when you see it like this, it's kinda disappointing. But as unsatisfying as it is, there's nothing perfect about this scene. The sheer number of shattered mirror, even if it is a little disappointing, is so unrealistically high. Now don't get me wrong, I love the excessive amount of broken glass hazards, but it hasn't been done this way in the anime. Some other mirrors have shattered into several pieces, but just like the number of broken shards of glass in this scene. It doesn't leave room for any mistakes, any mistakes would have to be enormously obvious to make themselves seen through the sheer amount of shards. So knowing the circumstances in which this scene was made, I think it's a shame for fans to howl at what they think is a mistake. To me it looks deliberate. Remember, even though they're shards of a mirror, they're still shards of a mirror. And what better way to shatter them than to shatter them into a million pieces. Poignancy is so well conveyed. d2c66b5586
